Welcome to FACT’s weekly video round-up.
As we note at the end of every year, music videos have never been better. But too often, music videos — along with documentaries, live sets and interview clips — get lost in the shuffle of news and new music.
With that in mind, FACT is doing what it does for mixes, mixtapes, vinyl and more: rounding up the internet’s best videos on a weekly basis. And to remove our bias, we won’t be including our own content — you’ll have to stay tuned to FACT TV for all your Against The Clock, FACT Freestyle and Big Narstie needs.

Twin Shadow’s latest power ballad seems ripped from an ’80s soundtrack. In kind, the video plays like a black-and-white trailer for a forgotten action movie, complete with Los Angeles wideshots, bits of cliched dialogue, models on cars and — in an anachronistic turn — a Final Fantasy sword.

POP.MORRIS [Volume One: An Excerpt]
Dir: Maal A Goomba & Princess Goomba
On POP.MORRIS project, P. Morris melts and blends his influences together as he embraces digital distortion. It’s the same approach used by Maal A Goomba and Princess Goomba in this video, where Beyoncé, Drake and Soul Train clips are spooled on the same VHS as home movies, a Pharrell shoutout and a Whitney Houston interview as digital bugs swarm.

Adan (son of Alejandro) Jodorowsky goes full-on NSFW camp in the video for his latest disco pop number. Jodorowsky enters a den of iniquity with porn star/writer Stoya, embarking on a softcore journey that finds novel uses for paint brushes and crucifixes as the Virgin Mary, taxidermied animals and a pair of Tumblr geishas look on.
