Semibreve Festival is back for its fifth edition in Braga from October 30 to November 1.

The Portuguese festival’s second round of additions is just as exciting as its first – as well as Australian multi-instrumentalist Oren Ambarchi presenting a show based on his latest solo material, PAN’s resident Casiotone house producer Heatsick will present a new work commissioned by Semibreve and developed within the context of an artistic residency.

Parisian producer Takami Nakamoto will also be there to present Reflections, an A/V performance premiered last May on MUTEK, while Swedish experimental techno figure Peder Mannerfelt will be performing in support of his recent albums Lines Describing Circles and The Swedish Congo Record.

They join the previously announced Dopplereffekt, Roedelius, Vessel and Klara Lewis, who are all appearing at venues across the city including Braga’s grand Theatro Circo, the GNRation arts complex and the 18th century house Casa Rolão.

Tickets are now on sale, with a festival pass available for 25 euros until August 31. For full details, check the Semibreve website.
