Welcome to FACT’s weekly video round-up.

As we note at the end of every year, music videos have never been better. But too often, music videos — along with documentaries, live sets and interview clips — get lost in the shuffle of news and new music.

With that in mind, FACT is doing what it does for mixes, mixtapes, vinyl and more: rounding up the internet’s best videos on a weekly basis. And to remove our bias, we won’t be including our own content — you’ll have to stay tuned to FACT TV for all your Against The Clock, FACT Freestyles and Confessions needs.

Kendrick Lamar
‘For Free?’ (Interlude)
Dir: Joe Weil & The Little Homies

Kendrick follows cinematic video of the year-contender ‘Alright’ with the playful surreality of ‘For Free’. The rapper and jazz musicians pursue his paramour around a mansion, with Uncle Sam, a gospel choir and Kendrick clones as backup.

Tkay Maidza
‘M.O.B.’

Australian vocalist Tkay Maidza continues to outpace compatriot Iggy Azalea while offering a less controversy-courting version of dance-rap than Azealia Banks. ‘M.O.B.’ alternates between faces in stark, black-and-white relief and neon-colored, animated space battles befitting the rave-rap jam.

Keys N Krates feat. Katy B
‘Save Me’
Dir: Adam Beck & Paul Johnston

Keys N Krates turn towards maximalist rave nostalgia (with an assist by Katy B), and while they describe ‘Save Me’ as “an absurdist take on romance and materialism,” it’s also a melancholy look at paraphilia and obsession.

Leaf
‘Drama’
Dir: GOLDRUSH

Fool’s Gold newcomer Leaf and her ghetto-gothic biker gang hit the streets, deal with familial drama and take on their enemies, bottles and spray cans in hand, and ready to start fires.

Jaden Smith
‘Scarface’
Dir: 490tx

The teenaged pop scion, style icon and Twitter philosopher gets gritty and grimy on ‘Scarface’, the first cut off his This Is The Album project, wandering through the streets and shadows of Matera, Italy.

Miguel feat. Kurupt
‘N.W.A.’
Dir: Tobias Nathan

R&B rockstar Miguel walks with a gangsta lean on the streets of Los Angeles as O.G. Kurupt raps from behind the wheel. The long takes and hidden cuts give it a seamless feel, the menace muted and suggested, rather than consummated.

Kehlani feat. Chance the Rapper
‘The Way’
Dir: Austin Vesely

R&B upstart Kehlani keeps it simple in the black-and-white video for You Should Be Here standout ‘The Way’, nodding to 90s R&B clips with some sexy choreography and a flirty cameo by Chance the Rapper.

Puscifer
‘Grand Canyon’
Dir: MJ Keenan, Puscifer and Ghost Atomic

On ‘Grand Canyon’, Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer pairs slow-burning alt-rock with epic desert footage that lives up to the song’s lyrics about “witnessing the majesty.” Also, lucha libre.

Gunplay
‘White Bitch’
Dir: Dre Films

Gunplay heads to the jungle and hits the seas with actual Cocaine Cowboy Mickey Munday for a cinematic look at the cocaine trade that — of course — takes the title literally. Living Legend, indeed.

FOALS
‘Mountain At My Gates’
Dir: Nabil

Another day, another 3D video. Is this essentially an ad for the GoPro Spherical? Sure, but Nabil makes ads (and Foals) cool with black-and-white and imploding mountains.
