Unsound has unveiled almost half of the 2015 programme.

Following up the “surprise” theme announced earlier this year, the festival has revealed which artists will be heading to Krakow in October. Individual tickets to all shows will go on sale at 12pm CEST today via Ticketpro.

This year’s programme will focus on collaborations, incluing a world premiere performance from Shackleton and Nisennenmondai’s Masako Takada and Sayaka Himeno, and Surgeon and Lady Starlight reprising their collaboration first revealed in a support slot for Lady Gaga. Charles Cohen will perform with Rabih Beani, Tin Man and Gunnar Haslam will play together as Romans, and Rabit and Kuedo will collaborate in a performance with visuals by Werkflow.

Polish jazz and noise stalwarts Tomasz Budzyński, Mikołaj Trzaska and Michał Jacaszek will collaborate as Rimbaud, and the week also features shows where one side of the collaboration is unknown, including gigs from Helena Hauff, Rob Mazurek and Ghedalia Tazartes.

Drummer Greg Fox, recently spotted playing with Ben Frost, will participate in a “Gregidency” where he’ll be joined by musicians who’ll be unknown in advance. New age maestro Laraaji will run yoga and meditation sessions, and other artists billed include jazz performer Matana Roberts, Current 93 joined by These New Puritans’ Jack Barnett, Bobbie Watson and Jon Seagrott of COMUS, Bill Orcutt of Harry Pussy and US black metal group Liturgy on a bill with Alessandro Cortini.

Thoughtful subversion comes from Holly Herndon, who will present her album Platform with special guest Colin Self, Elysia Crampton, and NON Records’ Angel-Ho and Nkisi.

The opening concert presents work by recently rediscovered minimalist composers Julius Easman and Tomasz Sikorski, presented together with Poland’s Bolt Records.

Other world premieres include the first-ever live shows from footworker Jlin, and PAN artist Visionist performing with video artist Kevin Bray. Untold will present a new audio-visual show with Emmanuel Bird, and HEALTH will play a noise-based set tapping into both their old and new sounds.

This year’s lineup at Hotel Forum includes club explorations from Andy Stott, Zenker Brothers, Levon Vincent, Aurora Halal, Galcher Lustwerk and Low Jack, plus Principe Discos artists DJ Firmeza and Nidia Minaj, NJ’s DJ UNIIQU3, RP Boo, the Golden Pudel’s Nina, Endless Crew’s Lexxi and Endgame, Poland’s Jacek Sienkiewicz, Japan’s DJ Nobu, Detroit’s DJ Bone and Glasgow’s Optimo. Room 3 on Saturday will be curated by Warsaw club night Brutaz, and Kraków’s club Szpitalna 1 will welcome Detroit’s Fit Siegel and Chicago star The Black Madonna.

Half of the line-up remains unannounced, fitting with the “surprise” theme. Find out more and get individual day tickets from Unsound’s website.
