Petre Inspirescu, Tin Man and the Giegling crew will also appear at the event in Tulum.

A new festival called Comunite launches in Mexico in January 2016, bringing together local talent and underground DJs from across the globe.

The festival is being held in the historic Mexican location of Tulum and sees Moodymann, Andrés, Petre Inspirescu, Lawrence, Mayaan Nidam, Portable and Rhadoo appear alongside a Giegling showcase and a host of South American acts including Juann & Jonn, Baby Vulture and AAAA, who collaborates with Tin Man as Tin Maaaan.

The one-day festival takes place on January 13 and runs for 15 hours. Environmental awareness is a key theme of Comunite, and proceeds from the festival will go towards building clean water systems for villages in the local area.
