ANOHNI comes to the UK in July.

The artist formerly known as Antony Hegarty is preparing to unveil a new record made with Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke, and we are stoked, to put it mildly.

UK fans will have their first chance to hear material from Hopelessness, which deals with themes of surveillance, drone warfare, and ecocide, at the Barbican in July.

The shows, on July 7 and 8, promise to be pretty unusual, with “joyous dancing and ANOHNI performing embodied within a live avatar.” Tickets are available from the Barbican now.

The album’s astonishing first single ‘4 Degrees’ was a standout from 2015.
