Angel Olsen, Jenny Hval and more also announced to perform at the Danish festival.

German electronic giants Moderat and Modeselektor are to perform a joint show at Copenhagen’s Roskile festival next year, it’s been announced. The exclusive show will turn the festival’s Orange Stage into a 60,000 capacity nightclub, according to organisers, who are promising an event “showcasing the best of Berlin with the sensibilities of Moderat and the irresistible, dance-friendly Modeselektor hits.”

Though the bands share members, this will be their first time performing together. Elsewhere on the bill, Jenny Hval, Angel Olsen, G-Eazy and Pig Destroyer are all set to perform, with Of Mice and Men, Hieroglyphic Being and Gangly also on board. Fans can also look forward to an intimate set from Denmark’s own Trentemøller, who’s taking on the smaller Arena stage. “The audience can expect a different sort of intensity with him and his band this time around,” says Head of Programme Anders Wahrén.
