Deadmau5 announces new album, > insert album title here <

Electronic giant Deadmau5 has announced a new album.

Titled > album title goes here <, it’s the Canadian’s 10th album by our count (counting his self-released mp3 projects), and the latest in a long lineage of “I can’t be bothered, really” style titles like Random Album Title and For Want of a Better Name. Luckily, it’s redeemed by some pretty great album artwork [below]: for those of you who always wanted Tom to beat Jerry, finally the cat has ended up on top.

Ultra Music will release > album title goes here < on September 25, and will precede it with new single ‘Professional Griefers’, featuring My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, on August 14 . As well as Way, the album features performances from Cypress Hill, Imogen Heap, Chris James and Wolfgang Gartner.

So much for unplugging, then.
