This year adidas invite you to Crash, Collide, Unite all Originals.

 

 

It’s no secret that new trends, looks and cultures are more often than not generated by crashing existing styles together. You need only look at underground music, which evolves through hybridisation, and where the collision of two or more different genres can lead to the formation of an entirely new one.

This year adidas want to inspire visual artists to produce their own collisions on paper. The collision must be based on at least one element of adidas Originals – be it the logo, or a particular shoe or item of clothing, etc – but beyond that, there are no restrictions. They’re looking only for the most unique and high-impact designs.

The collisions will be showcased in the London and Liverpool adidas stores in a unique exhibition over the course of the campaign with the gallery replicated online for any and all to access. A judging panel will select 3 artists to receive sponsorship from the brand while a public vote will determine the final winner.
