After years of relative silence, Prince is a regular fixture around these parts nowadays. 

The Purple One has upped a stack of new jams over the last few months, including sex jam ‘Breakfast Can Wait‘ and the low-key ‘That Girl Thang’ (he also knocked it out the park at SXSW).

Audio has now appeared online of Prince, accompanied by all-female backing band 3rd Eye Girl, rattling through Purple Rain opener ‘Let’s Go Crazy’. The results sound, well, nothing like Prince – think Wolfmother jamming with Sleep and you’re in the right ballpark.
