On yer bike.

Ever wanted to cycle your way across Europe? Well two Brownswood staff and a couple of their friends are planning to embark on that trip, heading from London suburb Dalston all the way to the Dimensions Festival in Croatia and it’s all in the name of charity. The project is called Beat ‘n’ Trail, and the team will be collecting money for The Steve Reid Foundation (a charity established by Gilles Peterson), and the Back Up Trust.

They are aiming to raise a massive £7,500 for the two charities, and while many festivalgoers might see their anual slice of hedonism as a time to get away from responsibilities for a bit, it’s encouraging to see a few people trying to make it count for something.

At almost 1500 miles, it’s not going to be an easy stretch of biking, so Gilles Peterson has put together a playlist to assist the gang on their travels, take a listen below.
