Hear Skream's jacking new single 'Bang That'

The dubstep hero-turned-disco selector makes his debut on Boysnoize Records.

Don’t panic, but ‘Midnight Request Line’ will soon be 10 years old. Since that watershed moment Skream has carved out a place as one of the UK’s hardest working DJs and producers, with seven volumes of his Skreamizm EP series now under his belt.

Lately he’s taken a left turn in his selections and breezed into the 4/4 space with plenty of house, techno and especially disco thrown into his sets, and a whiff of that eclecticism can be detected in new single ‘Bang That’ – a proper jacking cut that’s like dancefloor yin and yang, swerving from bolshy bass mayhem to euphoric rave chords and back again.

Heads might recognise the tune from sets by Loefah and Jackmaster last year, but now it’s finally coming out on Boysnoize Records. Check it out below.

Meanwhile Skream has just announced the London leg of his Skreamizm spring season at Electric Brixton on May 10 – head here for tickets.

‘Bang That’ is out digitally on March 24.
