Drake cribs Skepta's 'That's Not Me' on Lil Wayne's new mixtape

The wannabe road man borrows a line from Skepta’s 2014 anthem.

Drake has sent out another reminder of his love for grime on a track from Lil Wayne’s new mixtape Sorry For The Wait 2.

On ‘Used To’, he throws in the line, “Shout out to the Gs from the ends, We don’t live no girls from the ends”, cribbing from Skepta’s line in ‘That’s Not Me’ (“Love for the Gs in the ends, But we don’t love no girls in the ends”). Compare and contrast in the players below.

As we know from his Instagram, Drake is a big fan of Channel 4 series Top Boy, starring Kano and So Solid’s Asher D (scroll down for evidence).

Here’s hoping he adds a dash of grime to his rumoured mixtape and next album, Views From The 6.
