What Happened, Miss Simone? uses never-before-heard recordings, rare archival footage and Nina Simone’s best-known songs to tell the legendary singer’s story. It’s directed by Liz Garbus (Bobby Fischer Against the World, Killing in the Name, Love Marilyn) and will premiere on Netflix on June 26. Watch the trailer below.
