A video game classic, the way it was originally intended.

Graeme Norgate, Grant Kirkhope and Robin Beanland’s 1997 score for N64 classic Goldeneye 007 cracked the top third of our 100 greatest video game soundtracks list for a reason: it gave new life to Monty Norman’s classic theme and soundtracked a large part of our adolescence.

As was often the case in the cartridge era, the soundtrack had to be compressed due to technical limitations. Thankfully, the obsessives at Video Game Tracks have uploaded the entire soundtrack, uncompressed for the first time. Listen to the full thing and compare it to the compressed version below.
