Oval Space’s latest venture has revealed its first line-ups.

The Pickle Factory, an intimate new space located next to its sister venue, launches on October 23 with a night of expertly selected house and techno from New York’s Anthony Parasole, Detroit’s Mike Huckaby and secretsundaze resident Giles Smith.

After that strong opening night, the fun continues with appearances from some of the freshest underground artists around, including Efdemin and DJ Richard on October 30 and The Trilogy Tapes takeover with Will Bankhead, Samo DJ and Beatrice Dillon on November 27.

Oval Space’s live series Ovation will also make its debut at The Pickle Factory with a series of intimate shows featuring Red Axes, dub innovator Adrian Sherwood and Kompakt’s Saschienne. In addition to its in-house programme, the new venue will also host shows with crews and promoters like 1-800-Dinosaur, Clock Strikes 13, secretsundaze and Kristina Records’ Dream States.

The room itself has been “engineered like a recording studio” with a brand new D&B Audiotechnik V series Point Source sound system, while Hamburg artist Stefan Marx has created the venue’s visual identity, including a mural on the building’s facade.

The Pickle Factory is at 13 – 14 The Oval, London, E2 9DU – get more information and tickets from the website.
