Novation has released a short documentary exploring the most difficult part of the production process: finishing your tracks.
Featuring interviews with Floating Points, Throwing Snow, Om Unit, The Album Leaf, MJ Cole, Astronautica and The Makerz, the film features insight on how the artists go about creating a finished product.
Covering everything from the importance of having a record sleeve in mind to listening to finished tracks in the car, the documentary follows last year’s ‘Start Something’, made to coincide with the launch of the company’s Circuit groovebox.
Novation has also released a set of tutorial films offering more practical advice on everything from setting up hardware to advice on track arrangements.
