The vocalist performs an Irish folk standard for the series.

Cocteau Twins frontwoman Elizabeth Fraser releases music so rarely that anything new from the iconic vocalist is required listening. This year she’s been especially generous contributing a score to the mini-series Nightmare Worlds of H.G. Wells and now a song for the BBC series The Living And The Dead, as Clash points out.

Fraser performs ‘She Moved Through the Fair’, a traditional Irish folk song, alongside composing duo The Insects. You can hear it by tuning into Graham Norton’s BBC Radio 2 show and heading to 1:44:44.

Revisit one of Fraser’s many iconic musical moments below.
