Shed follows up 2012’s acclaimed The Killer with his fourth album.

German techno don René Pawlowitz, better known as Shed, has announced his latest album, The Final Experiment. It’s due for release on the Modeselektor-curated Monkeytown imprint (Pawlowitz’s last album, 2012’s The Killer, was released on Modeselektor’s now-defunct 50 Weapons label) and will be out on March 3.

The album is named after a private press label Pawlowitz kicked off in 2013, releasing his own music as well as a 12″ by Seelow and two split singles, and he’ll be celebrating its release with a special party at London’s The Pickle Factory on March 1.

The Final Experiment is the producer’s fourth full-length and follows a wave of acclaim that started with his beloved 2008 debut album Shedding The Past. [via Resident Advisor]
