Lee “Q” O’Denat, founder of WorldStarHipHop died in his sleep on Monday night, TMZ reports. An autopsy is scheduled for later today, but a source close to O’Denat says he suffered a heart attack. He was 43.

O’Denat founded WorldStar in 2005, aiming to make the video platform the “CNN of the ghetto.” Many popular artists broke through after their music was featured on viral videos on the site, including Chief Keef. The site also hosted plenty of user-filmed fight videos, resulting in people yelling “WorldStar!” at the incite of physical altercation.

In 2013, WorldStarHipHop found a new niche by compiling best-of videos from the week’s crop of new Vines. The Vine compilations, in turn, helped the micro-video platform gain more traction.

The site is so ubiquitous that it has been referenced on television shows like Happy Endings, Justified and Eastbound and Down.
