Their three-track debut is out in May.

Mogwai’s Barry Burns and glitch veteran Kangding Ray have announced the debut release from their collaborative SUMS project.

The group first joined in 2015 for Berlin Atonal and have only existed in live forms. The festival’s label, Berlin Atonal Recordings, will release a three-track self-titled EP featuring percussionist Merlin Ettore.

SUMS is due May 23. Though no tracks have been released, you can watch a video of the duo discussing SUMS and performing last year. [via Resident Advisor]
