“Nobody is going to understand it”, the festival curator allegedly said.

After a New Yorker profile on Coachella curator Paul Tollett suggested he’d passed having Kate Bush perform, both sides have refuted the rumors. Now Tollett has explained that the festival would absolutely book her in an interview with the LA Times.

“Even going back before Coachella, Goldenvoice has been after her for 25 years. She just doesn’t do very many shows,” he explained, adding that they didn’t consider her as a replacement for Beyoncé because the short amount of time would have made it impossible. Later he praises Bush with some poorly chosen words.

“We’ve had a long history of delicacies at Coachella, and that is one of the ultimate delicacies,” he said.

Earlier today, Bush’s spokespeople shut down the rumor that she had been passed on for Coachella explaining that she has had no communications about playing any festival.
