Hey, at least they’re talking again.

Jason Pierce may have turned down millions of dollars to reunite Spacemen 3, but today the band have joined forces again to tell fans “DON’T BUY OUR RECORDS” on Record Store Day.

All three of the band’s albums have been reissued by Space Age Recordings, but the band explain in a statement that they are currently in a legal dispute with label owner Gerald Palmer who they say is “depriving us of our rights in our music and other intellectual property rights relating to Spacemen 3.”

“Any monies from those sales will go directly to him and help fund his side of the dispute,” warns the note, which Pierce and co-founder Pete “Sonic Boom Kember” co-sign despite their rocky relationship over the years.

Read the full note below and maybe hold off on these reissues for now.
