Late of The Pier have launched their own record label, Zarcorp, specialising in "limited edition white vinyl releases for friends and family".

Every release will be produced in an edition of 500 copies on heavyweight vinyl, with no re-prints, and no digital versions. The records are priced at £5+p&p and will only be available from the Zarcorp myspace and Tokyo’s Escalator Records store.

The first release on Zarcorp is by Swedish keyboard-bashers Slagsmålsklubben (often abbreviated to SMK, thank god), a 7" boasting two densely-packed synth oddities that will appeal to fans of Teengirl Fantasy, Wax Stag and, of course, LOTP themselves. The synths persist on ZARCORP002, a 12" of slo-mo electro boogie (two tracks, ‘Hydroplanes’ and ‘Swiss Ambulance’, from the (sort of) fabulously named New Jersey outfit Pink Stallone.
