December is now well underway, and so – for better or worse – come thoughts of Christmas.

Today’s Daily Download is a wistfully Christmassy track from the excellent Pascal Babare. Babare’s highly accomplished debut album, Thunderclap Spring, was released last week; ‘Santa’s Seasonal Showdowns’ is taken from his forthcoming second album, due for release in Spring 2010 on the Tokyo and London-based Blackmaps label. Best enjoyed with a mince pie and large glass of sherry.
