Berlin-based New Yorkers Liars have announced a one-off London show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire to follow the release of new album Sisterworld.

Angus Andrew (such a good name), Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross (also a good name – we think) will take to the stage on Thursday, May 27.

If a new album and live date isn’t news enough for Liars fans, the band have also announced that Sisterworld will be available – as well as the standard single CD and vinyl versions – as a double-CD featuring a bonus disc of remixes and reinterpretations. No tracklist yet, but Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Bradford Cox (Deerhunter / Atlas Sound), Chris & Cosey (Throbbing Gristle), Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), Alan Vega (Suicide), The Melvins, Blonde Redhead and more feature.

Sisterworld is due for release on March 8; the first single from the album, ‘Scissor’, will be available on February 15.
