The Vinyl Factory will present a unique collaboration between Grace Jones and groundbreaking light artist Chris Levine at its gallery space in Soho, April 29 – May 13.

Levine, renowned for his 3D and still images of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, has created a series of 3D holographic portraits of pop legend Miss Jones for the Stillness at the Speed of Light exhibition. Showcasing the “extraordinary alchemy” between the two artists, these prints are priced £100-£200 and are available to order here. The exhibition will include large 3D lightboxes, a video installation, a unique soundscape, and more.

The exhibition will also mark the unveiling of Grace Jones by Chris Levine: Hurricane, a bespoke art vinyl edition created by The Vinyl Factory in collaboration with Levine. Housed in a double gatefold sleeve with unique screen-printed cover art, it contains Jones’ recent acclaimed Hurricane LP spread across two super-heavyweight 200g records and a Giclee fine art print of Chris Levine’s ‘Superstar’ image of Grace Jones. The edition is limited to only 500 copies, each numbered and signed by both Chris Levine and Grace Jones.

This show, to which entry is free, will also be used to launch Grace’s new video ‘Love You To Life’, which Chris Levine directed.

If you and a friend or loved one would like to attend the strictly invitation-only private view and opening party this Thursday 29 April, e-mail your name and the words ‘Grace Jones private view’ to competitions@vinylfactory.co.uk and you’ll be entered into a draw. The winner will be notified via e-mail on or before Wednesday 28 April.
