Working in close collaboration with acclaimed artist Chris Levine, The Vinyl Factory have crafted a special limited vinyl edition of Grace Jones’ latest album, Hurricane, to celebrate the new Grace Jones by Chris Levine: Stillness at the Speed of Light exhibition running at the VF gallery in Soho from April 30 to May 14.

Hurricane was Jones’s first new studio album for 19 years, and this is its first ever vinyl pressing.
Produced by Ivor Guest, the album features contributions from Sly & Robbie, Brian Eno, Tricky and Tony Allen.

The edition features a pink-flouro screen-printed gatefold sleeve, printed on 300gsm pristine white Colorplan, featuring a unique treatment of an iconic Grace Jones image by Chris Levine.
It houses Hurricane across two 200-gram super-heavyweight vinyl records, specially mastered for vinyl by Bob Ludwig in New York, and pressed on the legendary EMI 1400 in Hayes, Middlesex. Custom-made thumb-cut inner sleeves are screen printed pink fluoro inside with clear foil blocked tracklisting and complete album credits.
Also included is a fine art Giclee print featuring an exclusive Grace Jones ‘Superstar’ image by Chris Levine, hand numbered and signed by both Grace Jones and Levine.
