Blogger’s Delight take over the Lock Tavern, Camden this Sunday, May 2 for what looks like a belter of a session.

Headlining is Ed ‘DMX Krew’ Upton with a special boogie-themed set. A fixture in the UK dance music underground since the 90s, DMX Krew released several acclaimed full lengths on his own Breakin’ Records and Aphex’s Rephlex label, and also happens to be an expert on most things electronic – his regular podcast betrays his knowledge of house, funk, grime and more, and his 20 best: Acid House Records of All Time piece for FACT is essential reading. His most recent album of bucolic analogue ‘tronica came out earlier this year via Legowelt’s Strange Life imprint.

Supporting are two current top boys of UK dance music: Hot City, and new Dirtybird signing Julio Bashmore. Oh, and the Blogger’s residents, who are pretty good themselves. Entry is free, but this will presumably be quite busy, so we’d recommend getting there on time.

If you didn’t know, and we’re putting on a party at the Lock Tavern ourselves on May 9. Actress, D1 and Slackk – should be a good one.
