While 2 Chainz’ anticipated new single ‘No Lie’ drops May 1st, he’s released the decidedly pimped-out ‘Supafly’ to whet appetites. It’s a smoked-out blaxploitation ride, replete with flute loop, steamy samples, and an orgasmic female chorus singing his praises. The Artist Formerly Knows As Tity Boi has amor on his mind, rapping, “might eat her twice/ met her once, I was just being polite,” but never loses his composure. He’s got time to touch on all the other staples of ’70s Black B-movies: guns, dope, whatever; but mostly he’s just concerned that he and his cool lady have cool sex to his cool music in his cool car. That’s pretty damn cool.
