Apparently recorded in 2009, two years before Abel Tesfaye released his all-conquering debut mixtape House of Balloons, it’s a lot more vibrant than what we’re used to from The Weeknd and hardly essential, but as with all his old material, it makes for some interesting backstory to his unstoppable 2011 form.
