Sigur Ros have released the latest in their series of videos from Valtari.

The band continues their Mystery Film Experiement series with ‘Eg Anda,’ directed by Ramin Bahrani. Bahrani has been called the “director of the decade” by Roger Ebert.

The clip is perfectly suited for the ethereal meditations of ‘Eg Anda.’ Bahrani presents a slow-motion tone poem that contrasts urban life with animals at their most serene, yet as serene as it is, the most haunting image is of a fish’s death throes. It’s evocative of Godfrey Reggio’s Philip Glass-scored Qatsi series, in both audio and visuals.
