Werk Discs’ Actress may be best known for his sublime studio albums, but there’s quite a collection of off-cuts that he’s let out through his Twitter now – and ‘Shocktherapy101’ is one of the best.

Stunted boogie, it’s a great example of Actress’s ability to take a simple loop, and rather than build on top of it, subtly clip and cut at it to the point where it looks like it could resemble something else entirely, but then let its gossamer limbs, spiky in the way that origami’s spiky, slip back into place before things go too far.
