Azealia Banks just dropped the video for ‘Van Vogue.’
Considerably more restrained than the sexed-up Americana of her ‘Liquorice’ clip, the video for ‘Van Vogue’ features the budding fashion icon in a variety of getups that evoke classic Madonna and Janet Jackson videos. There’s even a few shots of the aquatic-obsessive in the water.
‘Van Vogue,’ rapped over the Machinedrum song of the same name, was released on Banks’ 1991 EP, which was reviewed favorably by Alex Macpherson.
