Stream Move D's new Hybrid Minds EP for Electric Minds

FACT Mix alumnus Move D has a new EP on the way.

David Moufang is now something of a house music old-timer. Having planted his flag back in 1992 as founder of Source Records, Moufang’s 1995 album Kunststoff announced his arrival as a force to be reckoned with. Modern Love, Running Back and Uzuri all played host to his productions over the following decade, and his 2008 comeback-of-sorts Secrets Of The Beehive reinforced his status as one of deep house’s most enduring practitioners.

Hardly a slouch, Moufang knocked out a slew of singles throughout 2011 (the pick being the twinkling ‘Anne Will’ on liebe*detail), and has been working with Juju and Jordash as Magic Mountain High. Juno Plus report that he’s now got a new vinyl EP on the boil, titled Hybrid Minds.

The Electric Minds disc features three new tracks, and they show Move D at his most swoonsome. Everything on here sounds pretty beguiling, but steamy boogie number ‘Useless’ – essentially Move D’s attempt at a sex jam – is the pick of the bunch.

Hybrid Minds is due on October 1, and is available to stream in its entirety below.
