Dancefloor magpies Nguzunguzu unleash a breakneck new mix

Nguzunguzu, riding high off the back of their Warm Pulse EP for Hippos In Tanks, have turned out another typically frenetic mix.

Asma Maroof and Daniel Pineda’s new mix for clothing brand SSENSE, clocked over at Ad Hoc, offers an overview of the band’s diverse reference points. There’s footwork (DJ Manny, DJ Trouble), commercial bump’n’grind (112, Jagged Edge) and a few wildcards (‘Hey Muma (Bhangrea Remix)’) . The pair’s Fade To Mind associate Massacooramaan gets a couple of shoutouts, as does label boss Kingdom.

The mix moves along at a fair old lick, tripping from track to track with impunity. If you fancy a similarly antic session from the pair, check out Nguzunguzu’s recent FACT mix.
