New York singer-songwriter Jesse Boykins III and producer-rapper MeLo-X have teamed up for a mystical approach to soul music, fusing “elements of Afro-Beat, West Indian music and Electronic Soul.” Ninja Tune will release the collaboration’s debut album Zulu Guru on October 30.
