If you saw Grimes’ eye-catching video for ‘Genesis,’ you’re already familiar with Brooke Candy.

Brooke Candy was the one with pink dreads, a body suit/armor hybrid, impossibly long fake nails, and Gagaish platforms. Apparently, along with hanging out with art-pop weirdos, she also raps.

‘Das Me’ is so oversexed – both lyrically and visually – that it would make Lil Kim blush. Her wordplay is filthy and funny, even if her flow resembles that of contemporary Kreayshawn, if a bit sharper. However, with a chorus of “All the dudes wiggle your dick for Brooke Candy / All the hoes giggle your tits for Brooke Candy,” this may be a better coming out song than ‘Gucci Gucci.’

And then’s there’s the video: an over-the-top NSFW adventure full of the requisite gyrating body parts and illegal substances, with plenty of girls “expressing themselves” (if you’re familiar with Diplo’s Twitter feed, you’ll know what we mean). But to keep it weird, there are double-take shots of a decapitated body, skeptical passers-by, and the video’s star walking a child on a leash.
