The bassline house progenitor shares the “Train Wreck Mix.”

The Huddersfield 1Xtra presenter turns in an ADD-addled, power hour of a mix for Red Bull Music Academy. Don’t let the “train wreck” designation fool you: the 39 tracks crisscross bassline, garage, and two-step with the precision we’ve come to expect from DJ Q (ahem).

Along with a host of unreleased originals, DJ Q mixes in frenetic tracks from Disclosure, Redlight, Mosca, Todd Edwards, and some of his compatriots at Unknown to the Unknown. The mix and the full tracklist are available over at RBMA.

The bassline legend recently remixed girl-group Stooshe with the same “shit into sunshine” approach of so many garage remixes before it.
