Vito De Luca re-imagines the British breaks icon’s latest electrohouse anthem.

The title of Alex Metric’s ‘Rave Weapon’ is instructive: the track is all build-and-release, hands-in-the-air theatrics, a modern take on the synth stabs / diva vocals of so many house anthems before it. Aeroplane smooths the song’s rough edges, in the Balaeric beat meets French house style for which he is known.
