SKYWLKR is Danny Brown’s de facto beatmaker-in-chief.

The Detroit producer was best in show on Brown’s mercurial XXX tape, producing standouts ‘Die Like A Rockstar’ and ’30’. He’s also clocked up credits for the likes of Deniro Farrar, and worked with Brown’s Bruiser Brigade click. Following on from the fun, frenetic Impressions mixtape earlier this year,  SKYWLKR’s just dropped a no-frills collection of recent instrumentals, titled Like 3 Joints Or So. Childish Gambino/Danny Brown cut ‘Toxic’ feeds Britney Spears’ 2004 hit through a mangle, and ‘Witit’ is similarly rambunctious. ‘They Don’t Like Me’ (another Gambino track), meanwhile, takes things down a notch.
