‘A Day’s Pay For A Day’s Work’ is built around keyboard chords, synth swells, and a shuffling drum machine beat, giving vocalist James Buttery a stripped-down composition over which to emote. The song appears on News From Nowhere, which will drop on February 4 via Warp.
