There’s an uneasy new video from the club-wise Los Angeles futurists.

‘Smoke Alarm’ is the sleek and creepy standout on Warm Pulse, their Hippos in Tanks EP that finds the duo coming into their own. The track’s video is a mundane POV shot, but viewed through a prism of laser light and flame.

While very different from their computer-generated video for last year’s ‘Water Bass Power’, the clip is hazy, color-saturated, and just as menacing as the song itself. Nguzunguzu shared a phenomenal edit as part of FACT’s advent calendar.
