Having taken on Tarantino, DJ Rashad has pulled The Bawse to pieces.

The footwork icon will make his Hyperdub debut next month with the Rollin’ EP, and the snatches we’ve heard suggest we’re in for one of his strongest, most adventurous releases to date. By way of an aperitif, Rashad has upped great non-EP cut ‘Can’t Hold Me Back’. The track sees Rashad take his scalpel to Rick Ross’ ‘Hold Me Back’, turning the MMG boss’ unhurried drawl into something urgent, insistent and just a little bit silly.

Rollin’ is due on March 19.
