‘Plastic Like Your Mother’ is the first single off the peculiar techno trio’s new LP, Miami. The percolating tune features Sa-Ra member / Frank Ocean producer Om’Mas Keith on vocals, and his “in my heart” incantations provide a human counterpoint to the austere instrumental.

The video is directed by bandmember Daniel Brandt and Julian Schleef, and the clip’s camera-headed dancers provide handclaps and evoke the spirit of the Michel Gondry-directed video for ‘Around the World’.

Longtime home !K7 will release Miami on March 11. In contrast to the primness of Mr Machine, Miami promises to be “more spontaneous” and “more dark;” the album also features Jamie Lidell and Nina Kraviz.
