Dive into this murky vid for ‘Polarity’, a track taken from Stellar OM Source’s stonking new album, Joy One Mile.

The dimly lit pool and cast of geisha-like swimmers provide a neat visual counterpoint to the shadowy groove and sinister synth lines of the track, taken from the producer’s album for RVNG Intl.

FACT’s Maya Kalev described Joy One Mile as “idiosyncratic but refined, and cerebral but bodily, it’s everything electronic music ought to be.” The album also made it onto our Second Quarter Report on the best releases from April to June – see the rest here.

Earlier this month FACT caught up with the producer, real name Christelle Gualdi, to discuss unlearning through improvisation and the spiritual potential of the dancefloor.
