Another missive from the Brooklyn experimenter.

Daniel Lopatin has unveiled his ‘Problem Areas’, an album track from the forthcoming Oneohtrix Point Never album R Plus Seven, due out 1 October on Warp.

You can listen to the song on his weird website or watch the even weirder Takeshi Murata-directed video above, which gently pans across a lurid still life of postmodern detritus to offer a sickly visual echo of the song’s digital sheen.

‘Problem Areas’ is the second video to emerge from Oneohtrix in the run-up to the new LP, following the equally strange promo for ‘Still Life (Interspecies Excerpt)’.
