There’s only one way to spend your Easter Weekend if you’re in Amsterdam, and it’s got nothing to do with eggs.

This weekend DGTL Festival takes over the NDSM Hall in the Docklands, the huge abandoned shipyard in the north of the city, to present dozens of the world’s finest house and techno selectors alongside a rollcall of cutting-edge live acts.

The packed line-up is enhanced by DGTL ART, adding innovative lighting, futuristic sculptures and interactive performance acts to the festival ambience, and DGTL Revolution, which this year takes “power” as its theme with renewable wind and solar energy tapped to run the huge event.

We’ve picked the five acts you shouldn’t miss if you’re heading to the Docklands this weekend – turn the page to find out more, and see the rest of what’s on via DGTL’s website.

Young Marco

1. YOUNG MARCO
Friday – Scheepsbouwloods, 21:00-23:00

Ease yourself into a heavy weekend with homegrown talent, ESP Institute regular and Rush Hour employee Young Marco, who’ll use his esoteric and vintage selections to light a fire under the very first set of the festival. Hear a mix.

Pachanga Boys

2. PACHANGA BOYS
Saturday – Ellum, 20:00-23:00

Whatever the weather’s doing, Kompakt regular Superpitcher and Cómeme co-founder Rebolledo will bring a balmy touch to DGTL’s Saturday night line-up with their taste for hypnotic disco, sunkissed house and other “hippie dance” magic. Hear a mix.

Michael Mayer and Roman Flugel

3. MICHAEL MAYER B2B ROMAN FLÜGEL
Sunday – Digital, 17:00-20:00

The ever-unpredictable Roman Flügel teams up with Kompakt’s Michael Mayer for a peak-hour sweatfest on the Digital stage, and frankly who knows what they’ll throw out there? Park yourself inside for three hours of guaranteed ass-shaking. Hear a mix.

John Talabot and Job Jobse

4. JOHN TALABOT B2B JOB JOBSE
Sunday – Digital, 20:00-23:00

Stay put at the Digital stage on Saturday night for another top-tier back-to-back session as Barcelona’s John Talabot spars with Job Jobse, the local hero who was formerly resident at Amsterdam’s sadly-departed Trouw club. Hear a mix.

Happa

5. HAPPA
Sunday – Stero, 21:30-23:00

English nipper Happa will see off the weekend’s debauchery with an edge-of-yer-pants set sure to dabble in vicious industrial techno and serrated grooves. If it must end, end it in style. Hear a mix.
