Shazam has unveiled a new feature that shows fans which songs their favourite musicians are looking up.
Until now, artist profile pages have only shown their top tracks and videos, but from today you’ll be able to check out a stream of their recently Shazamed songs. The music identifier app has around 30 partner artists so far, mostly at the poppier end of the spectrum, including Usher, Clean Bandit, Avicii and Alicia Keys.
The added features also include a tool to let artists share their favourite tracks straight to their fans’ home feeds, and a Shazam Count number on each song to see how many times it’s been searched for. The update is rolling out today on iOS and Android.
Last month Shazam added visual recognition capabilities allowing users to access exclusive video content through select objects with a Shazam-readable logo. [via TNW]
