Ben UFO, Helena Hauff and Veronica Vasicka are also billed for the festival in October.

Bristol’s multi-venue festival Simple Things has revealed this first names to be confirmed for this year’s event, taking place on October 22 and 23.

Jessy Lanza is among the live highlights, along with main stage headliners Warpaint. Other live acts include Diagonal boss Powell, Awful Records singer Abra, rising grime star AJ Tracey, experimental punk act Suuns and former Beta Band singer Steve Mason.

The festival’s DJ talent is headed up by Hessle Audio’s Ben UFO, while Metronomy’s Joseph Mount will play a DJ set of music that inspired and influenced his recent album Summer 08.

Other DJs include Helena Hauff, Beats in Space host Tim Sweeney, Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka, recent FACT mixer Courtesy, Lena Willikens, Karen Gwyer, and Mike Servito. There’s also a Teklife party featuring SpinnTraxman, Jackie Dagger and Feloneezy and a UK funky session from Marcus Nasty and Crazy Cousinz.

The action takes place at Bristol’s Colston Hall, Bristol O2 AcademyLakota and other venues on October 22, with a closing performance from the Master of Horror himself, John Carpenter.
